I'm 5'7" and am right now taller than a lot of the guys at my school. I'm in 11th grade for crying out loud. They need to get taller.

I'm 5'2" (on a very good day) and that's all I'll ever be. sigh.
On the bright side, Judy Garland and Bernadette Peters are also really small!

I think it's all a matter of preference, just like anything else.

Me, Im short -- just about 5'3" -- and i LOVE a guy who's a whole lot taller than I am. The thing is, when I wear heels (which is most of the time, with the exception of now cause Im barefoot) they;re typically about 3 1/2 - 4 inches high, which puts me at about 5'7". I have big issues being taller than the guy Im dating, but you know, that's just me. lol

I've always fell for girls about 5'3" or shorter.

My wife is 5'1".

An honest answer - I like average size girls -- 5'5-5'9 or so is probably ideal for me, but then, I'm 6 feet tall. Too much shorter than that and I have to bend down a lot, and at my size, having a girl as tall as me or taller is just a little strange for me. I did once date a girl who was about 5'2, and the height difference just felt strange. Of course, that's not to say that height is necessarily the first thing I'm looking at, either.

I'm 6 foot five but height isn't really a factor in who I date, as long as they put out before I even know their last name, they're OK with me.

Well, I may not be the best person to respond to this (I've been married, forever), but when I was dating, I didn't have a height preference. I dated short and tall, blonde, brunette and redhead. I was more concerned with their personality and sense of humor, than their height! I'm 6' 2", if that matters.

When i was going out with Costume Mistress, I didn't think that her being taller would be a huge deal. It was.

I actually do know someone who fits that ideal...excpet she's 5'2" and has peculiarly long legs...haha I think her legs was just as long as my friend's legs who is like 5'7" or 8".

I am 5'10" and I think men are intimidated by my height. (Or maybe it's my third breast) I don't date guys shorter than me. I did once and had to wear flats everywhere we go.

my sister is 5'9 too
i like leggier women
but i really dont care if they're tall or not most of the time- just as long as they're hot!

See, I'm also 5'9, and I've found that pretty much all my guy friends like the smaller girls. It seems that guys like to admire tall, leggy girls, but for an actual relationship, they tend to like being the bigger one. I'd so much rather be short...good luck finding a guy who's way taller than me when I'm in stilettos, which I love wearing.

Well,
Do the best you can with what you have!
I am very short so I focus on other great features.
People usually compliment me on my hair, nose and eyes.
I also have very muscular calves. A lot of guys love my calves.
But, I would give anything to be 5'8, tall, skinny and blonde.
Blonde, leggy woman have more fun.
One good thing about being short is you look younger.
People still proof me if I go out without makeup and don't know who I am.
I was visiting some friends upstate and they thought I was a teenager. Very flattering. (My friends introduced me to other friends and they asked when I turned legal) They look so much older than me. I guess because they have kids and are very tall. I run them ragged. People don't walk a lot in the burbs.
They drive. Walking keeps me young!

I thought you were 5'4", Corine. That does not qualify as "very short."

From Halls.md:

LOL me too. I'm 4'11 and a half and not getting any taller. People also generally assume that I'm 10 years younger than my chronological age and fresh out of high school.

I wish I was at least 5'3. Oh well.

I'm 5'11" and I agree w/ you on the intimidation thing....but, yeah, your third breast probably has a bit to do w/ that, too.
