I was pretty underwhelmed by the two part premiere. Moffat has once again gone back on his word saying that the Daleks were done. Hopefully now that's true. He really needs to step down as show runner. And I hate this whole "I'm into wearable technology now" and giving up the sonic screwdriver. Sunglasses are so lame.

I thought the premiere last week was the worst Dr. Who ever. Will give them 10 minutes tonight and decide if I want to continue. Capaldi seems good but I don't like Clara at all.

OK - watched the entire second episode. Thought some of it was clever, most of it confusing. Think I will spend my viewing time elsewhere.

Wow. Tonight was a real
tearjearker. I was finally starting to warm up to Clara and now she's dead. 
At least now she'll be with Danny again.
There has been lots on online chatter about Ashildr being a Big Bad and I think tonight showed that she truly is. Definitely won't be the new companion. I'm honestly hoping that Missy fills that role.

I had a feeling that tonight was going to be here sendoff episode. When she was hanging out of the TARDIS scanning the city and almost fell with no fear, I knew that she was done. She was right, she got reckless. I really liked Clara's Arc over the past three years. A lot of people give her hate, but I really enjoyed her evolution.

Clara never did much for me, and I found her continued presence to bring diminishing returns, but I did get a little choked up when she bit it. We'll probably see her in some form or another before the season is done, but I'm ready for a new companion.

Well looks like we got the real ending to Clara. As much as people hate Clara, Jenna Coleman is a fantastic actress. The scene when she found out how long he worked to bring her back.....I was very happy with her actual departure and the arc that she had over the past 3 years.
Looking forward to River in the Christmas Episode.

I agree about her doing good work and I actually liked her last night a lot. I didn't so much hate her as felt she overstayed her welcome. I felt similarly about Martha. I had nothing against the actress, but I could not stand the character.
I'm excited for River, too.
