Does Anybody Intelligent Post On Those IMDB Boards?

All I ever see is negative crap on every IMDB board.

I just checked out the Brooke Shields board and it's ugly. I couldn't believe how cruel some people are.

Why do all the idiots and uneducated fools flock to these boards? There is so much ignorance on most of their boards, I think they should just do away with the feature.

No. I can't tell you how many chauvinistic and homophobic slurs I've seen on that board. It taints the integrity of the database.

There are probably millions of boards on IMDB...
Maybe you're not visiting the right ones. Try something for a more obscure film and forgotten talent. (Harold Lloyd comes to mind.) Updated On: 10/28/05 at 09:13 AM

I was grimly fascinated by the boards there for a little while. Then they just annoyed me. And now you have to join up to read them. I'll cope without them.

They can be nasty, nasty, nasty. But not the BWW nasty the geez-you-sound-like-you're-5 kind of nasty. I went to the Sienna Miller boards to ask a question about her upcoming movie, and it just so happened to be around the time of the whole nanny fiasco. The board was FLOOOODED with people insulting her, insulting Jude...I asked my question and I got so many responses of either "WHO CARES SHE'S HEARTBROKEN!" or "SHE DESERVES THIS MOVIE TO FLOP!!!"

I basically signed up there to go to the Ewan boards. Hi, big mistake. With the exception of 3 older girls who are actually intelligent and really nice..and the Ewan board is fun if you're a fan of his. But like, at the london The Island premiere, he got mad at some journalist who told him to stay away from the Enlgish accent..this journalist later tried to like...follow him home asking for a quote..and he got mad. Who wouldn't Well IMDB thought this was great to put into their news thing so we had SOOOOOOOO many people going on that board just go talk about what an asshole he is.


OH! And remember that weird guy who came on here asking if me and BWW was for real? The one who said he came from IMDB and he did? Yeah if you remember him that's basically what IMDB people are. They FEEED on gossip and enjoy annoying the crap out of other people.


For the most part anyway.
