But if they (Darren Starr and Andy Cohen) hate women, then what does that say about the women who flock to this stuff?

I'm not sure, but I think about that often. I came home to my extremely intelligent, feminist mother watching SaTC last week and did a facepalm, lol. I don't judge people who watch those shows because hell, I'm a housewives fanatic, but it is quite odd.

Unless we women somehow enjoy how one-dimensional these women are because it's a relief from our complex selves?

And Taz, I think Lars and Sarah Palin should hook up. Imagine the possibilities..

Personally, I think Andy likes to stir the pot and cause (or create)as much drama as he can. He is funny and a little entertaining. I do think he loves that he's on camera! I also think it's funny how this kind of fame has gone to the head of so many of the castmates!

SatC is an escapist thing imho. Haven't watched any of the other shows, but I have watched about half the SatC episodes out there. I like the show because it's fun and manages to portray a very normal side to the characters as well. Carrie's apartment is utterly believable. The embarrassing and painful things are as much as the super colorful and unrelatable things.
