Does anyone else here love Alison Jiear?

I discovered her on YouTube and have fallen in love with this singer from Australia.

Has she ever appeared in America?

Does anyone know anything about her?

Also from the group "The fabulous Singlettes" right? I remember her winning a t.v. talent show years ago.

Of course! That's one reason I wish JERRY SPRINGER had actually transferred from Britain (instead of this bloody "concert version")--so that American audiences could fall for her overweight pole dancer and her classic showstopper, "I Just Wanna F*****in Dance".

She's done a fair amount of flop musicals, including one by Jim Steinman of "Bat out of Hell" (??) She also did the London production of SMOKEY JOE'S CAFE--singing B.J. CROSBY'S PART! A British white woman who sounds like an Afro-American soul sister!

I ask in all honesty/What would life be?/Without a song and a dance, what are we?/So I say "Thank you for the music/For giving it to me."
