I love dogs! I'd have one if I weren't allergic. anyway, I thought I'd start a thread for dog photos, as I know a lot of us have and love them. and you have great photos of them. So, I'll start with these few, and please let's see everyone's beloved dogs!

This is Chester, a chocolate lab, who was the greatest pal I had growing up. He lived to the ripe old age of 13, and now resides in doggy heaven, and is buried out behind my parents' garden. I loved this dog. He actually died the day before I left for college. I knew all summer his health was in decline, and had come to terms with the fact that when I left for college, that would probably be the last time I saw him, as it didn't seem like he'd live long enough for me to see him again. It was as if my old pal didn't want this to happen or have it hanging over my head, and he left us the day before. Bringing him to the vet to have him put down remains one of the hardest things I've ever done. Bless him, he managed to wag his tale and and look over at me fondly one last time.
However, I don't want to make this thread too sad, so here is my parents' current dog, Woodrow, who is a yellow lab. He's bigger than any lab I've ever seen, and despite his large size and intimidating looks, is actually one of the friendliest dogs you ever could hope to meet. If you play tug of war with him, he'll be your friend for life. If I had a bigger place, I would love to have him live with me, but I don't think the neighbors would appreciate such a large dog trolling about!

Here are my two puppies when we first got them. The bottom one is Cinnamon and the one with the clip is Jenson.

We actually have some poodles at the shelter now, however my mom and dad will not let me have one.

Elvis and Hank--named after Presley and Williams, of course. This was the easiest picture to post since they're both in it, though it sucks. They're not very photogenic (the camera really does add ten pounds) and they're both dumb as rocks, but they're quite possibly the best dogs I've ever had (and I've had a few).
All of your dogs are adorable!
