Dolly Parton

She sang the Lennon song, Imagine, and all I could think about was that he was dead and I got depressed. Why the hell would sombody kill a musician? I still don't get that. She looked AWSOME. Her accent and bad English is funny. Was anyone else there? Also, I noticed that she had a monitor down in front of the stage hidden giving her the lyrics to the songs. Is that normal? It didnt bother me I just never noticed it. Do other singers do that? Did anyone else notice how she kept refering to how much money she had and how famous she was? Does she always do that?

It's a wonderful CD although some of the background vocals are a little faint.
Definitely worth picking up or giving as a holiday gift.
TURN, TURN, TURN; BOTH SIDES NOW; IMAGINE; THOSE WERE THE DAYS are some of the great tracks on the CD.

Cyndi is a kick-ass singer and I wish some record label would let her record what she wants instead of acoustic [i.e., inexpensive] stuff.
The Bette album is very good and should motivate people to buy from the Peggy Lee catalogue.
