The Pollyanna side of me just can't accept that this is all a business deal. A business deal involving a baby... it's just too twisted.

On the other hand, for whatever needs are being met by each other FOR each other, I believe that a huge factor is HIS need to be seen as straight, and the lust for publicity that both apparently crave is the ONLY possible explanation for the constant barrage of personal minutiae being issued by their PR person. At least the only possible explanation that I can process.

I could will myself to just block them from my radar instead of wasting energy on the loathing I feel every time I see their names.

Kate isn't exactly a grown up name! I was born a Kate, and have never been a Katie. So take THAT, Tommy Cruise!

I think everyone should continue to call her Katie Holmes instead of Kate Cruise just to piss them off and make Tom go all psycho on us again! Oh wait, that's his normal personality...

They are both a waste of thinking space in my brain.

I think that in order to be "uncle" Jamie Foxx should have to be called James based on the same logic of adultedness
