It also seems like 99% of the people who do that also pronounce it, TK-esh.

I can't believe this is a thread. Or that I'm posting on it. All I know is I went to TKTS this weekend and there was NO line at all. NONE. Walked right up and got The Wedding Singer tickets. Could have done the same for an evening show, but there was nothing up we really wanted to see (re: seen everything there already we were willing to pay for)

I just call it "tickets". And if there is a correct way to pronounce it, who cares?! It's a line for tickets, so that's what I'm calling it!
