I know! You start out thinking it's going to be campy or silly--both because she's a disco queen and because the song long ago became cliche--and then, POW! She reminds you she was (and still is) a powerful singer.

Two questions.

1) What was the snippy, "I SEE it. Thank you," before she started about, I wonder? and,

b) Why did her mouth close a full three seconds before the last note of "starrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" finished ringing out? Was she lipsynching the final belt? Is Donna a ventriloquist like that there Jeff Dunham the kids are so crazy about?

She works hard for the money! Saw'right!

with the last note, you can see/hear the backup singer behind Donna hitting the same note as her and when Donna shuts her mouth, you can see the backup singer still going at it.

Donna's fine, but give me Richard Kiley.
Even without actually seeing him perform the song, it gets me choked just listening to him.

Richark Kiley? YAWN. Sure that is fine if you want the same old tired thing again. I think part f the purpose of posting these delicious clips is to share with others things you otherwise would have mised out on. Thanks for the clip PJ. I love her. Her voice is still impeccable. MORE.. MORE..
