Doritos Taco creator dies

If you are a fan of Doritos and tacos...a match made in Arkansas was created by Todd Mills. Unfortunately last week at 41 he lost his battle with brain cancer.

Unpaid for his idea, according to the Huffington Post, Doritos Locos sales have surpassed $1 billon!

Donations are being accepted on website to help pay for Todd's medical bills and big spender Taco Bell donated...$1,000

GO TACO BELL...ONE THOUSAND...that's it?!
Disappointed in Taco Bell - think it could have been a bit more.

Call me a sap if you want, but this is a man who came up with (at least I think) a great idea...stuck by it and saw it come to fruition and unselfishly did not expect or want any compensation for it even after having the idea rebuffed numerous times by Frito-Lay and/or Taco Bell.

That Taco Bell has only offered $1,000 to offset this man's medical bills is an insult to his memory. Without him they would not have a product that has brought them a billion dollars in profits.

Disgusting.

Taco Bell can now go and suck on my chalupa.
