This last weekend, I was thrilled to be part of a benefit for the John Wayne Cancer Institute called "What A Pair!".
I was asked to put a couple of male actors in drag to do a number from "Sugar" called "Beauty That Drives A Man Mad" and was told I had to keep it a secret, because they were a 'surprise performance', and actually the first time men had ever performed at this benefit. Now I can let the cat out.
It was Steven Weber and Jason Alexander, and it was a blast to dress them up!
Here they are performing the number:

I was also asked to put together costumes for Elaine Hendrix and Sharon Lawrence who were doing the "Time Warp".
And they were as nice as could be! As was the entire cast:
Lori Alan
Marianne Jean-Baptiste
Emily Bergl
Mary Birdsong
Rosa Blasi
Deana Carter
Nikki Crawford
Loretta Devine
Tricia Leigh Fisher
Kate Flannery
Deborah Gibson
Amanda Giuliano
Nancy Grahn
Marg Helgenberger
Samantha Harris
Lili Haydn
Elaine Hendrix
Arden Kaywin
Sharon Lawrence
Vicki Lewis
Jane Lynch
Mary Ann Mobley
Amy Pietz
Teri Polo
Samantha Shelton
Michelle Stafford
Marcia Strassman
Tierney Sutton
Liz Vassey
Marcia Wallace
Lisa Ann Walter
Jennifer Leigh Warren
Maggie Wheeler
Kathleen Wilhoite
Joanne Worley
And, starting next year, I will be coordinating the entire cast! It was such a fun and positive night, and everyone had a great time.
