Our Miss Spelling was twelve at the time... turns out she was a HUGE fan of GENERAL HOSPITAL and in particular its then-reigning star, Emma Samms... Tori thought Emma would make a PERFECT Fallon--British Accent and all.

it's soooooo funny how Emma Samms was such a bad casting choice because:
1. Fallon was born in AMERICA, therefore she wouldn't have a british accent.
2. Alexis was driven out by Blake when Steven and Fallon were very small children, so they never really knew her and weren't raised by her.

Emma Samms invited Gebb and I and a few others to her house to dinner because she was a former dancer. She told us she had to quit the biz because her boobs were too big.
Later we invited her to come backstage to watch a performance -- and we got in trouble from the stage manager at the Dorothy Chandler. Guess the stage manger also wasn't taken with Miss Samms as Fallon!

Some MORE Internet Trivia regarding Rock Hudson and DYNASTY...
By the time Hudson had taken the role of a suave horse breeder on the TV series "Dynasty," the AIDS virus was consuming him.
Hudson suffered memory loss and was forced to use cue cards. He also had difficulty speaking.
He was the first major public figure to announce he was a homosexual with AIDS, and his worldwide search for a cure drew international attention.
After his death on October 2, 1985, his companion Marc Christian successfully sued his estate, again calling attention to the homosexuality Rock had hidden from most of his career.
As Morgan Fairchild said, "Rock Hudson's death gave AIDS a face."

and, Marquise, I know Ted McG wasn't the cause of the demise of Dynasty, but he has the reputation of being the one to watch out for on TV shows... sharks are jumping when he is cast...

well Andy Hardy i dont have anything against Emma Samms...she's great at what she does...i just don't like her as Fallon Carrington Colby. she was so wrong for the part, she was such a weak Fallon.
but then again the writers had already been softening the character of Fallon up after the second season, this didn;t sit well with PSM, and that is one of the reasons she left.
Emma Samms, however should be lauded for her tremendous work with the Starlight Children's Foundation. The lady has a big heart.
