Abby wasn't feeling well, and a fair bit of time had passed since the shooting begain. She could have been bleeding that whole time, but going off of adrenaline (sp?) for a while.

Kerry won't get fired. She'll just find another a scapegoat like she always does.

What was with Morse finally stepping up and being a good Dr.? There has been absolutely nothing to indicate that he would be able to do that.

And, I agree, that it was over the top. Are that many actors contracts up that they felt the need to leave the option of killing them off? I mean, what hospital has two big helicopter issues, a stabbing, a beating, a jailbreak shooting, a couple of major outbreaks of rare diseases causing quarantines, and stolen tank being driven to the ER?!

Can someone give me a quick summary of what happened last night? Alas, my roommate made me reliquich the TV after "Will & Grace", although it was nice of him to let me watch that.

In a basic nutshell:
-Abby said that she and Luka should discuss their relationship and he said, "You're right. Let's get married."
-Kerry is in trouble with Anspaugh(sp?) for Clemente and the way Kovac is running the ER.
-Natalie Wood's daughter showed up as an EMT trainee there to observe and help for training. No one questioned it.
-Sam's EX came back in because he and another guy got into a fight and ripped open his appy incision.
-EMT girl chloroforms the security guard of the first guy and they bust in on Sam and the Ex.
-Luka walks in on them and EMT girl gives him a shot in the neck of something paralyzing.
-Same convinces them to let her intubate Luka and she starts breathing for him. Then they pull her away with the tube in her throat.
-As they are forcing Sam to wheel Ex out with the other con dressed like the security guard, Sam calls Abby Abigail. Abby knows something is wrong and alerts the security guard.
-HUGE gunfire follows.
-Abby falls, but isn't shot.
-Jerry is shot. It's bad. They work on him.
-Ex pushes Sam to van. She says think of Alex (their son.) He says he already did. He opens the van and Alex is tied and taped inside. Alex climbs in.
-Abby goes out to get something for Jerry and realizes she is bleeding. Large, pretty unbelievable amounts from her hoo hoo.
-Luka a sees her through the window, but no one has seen him. He is trying to get free but can't. (Why did they tie Luka to the hospital bed if he was completely paralyzed?
-Abby falls and a large pool of blood is forming under her.

Am I the only one who was cheering when Neela told off Michael's father? I had an incident similar to that a few years ago when my prom date was killed over in Iraq. At his funeral, a reporter came up to me and asked me if I thought he died with honor and all the BS political crap they try to pass off when a solider dies. I then proceeded to tell off the reporter and make the papers.

How much longer do you think the show is going to last?

I miss the good old days with Doug and Carol, Mark, Benton, Jeannie...when Dr. Carter was a med student. It had so much more heart. I think it's been running ot of steam, though I hate to admit it.

A year or two at the very most. They are just showing it as a half season show next year. The are playing it from September to January with no reruns. Some other show begins in January.
