"East Side Story" at New Fest in NYC Wed.

Did anyone attend the screening of "East Side Story" at New Fest Wednesday night (34th street Loews, Manhattan). Very charming new indie film that deserves a distribution. Wonder if anyone else saw it. Fresh take on gay gentrification in traditionally Latino east LA, without the usual heavy-handed preaching. And funny.

East Side Story was also the name of an old MAD Magazine parody of West Side Story about the U.N.
