Posted: 6/8/06 at 10:41pmDid anyone attend the screening of "East Side Story" at New Fest Wednesday night (34th street Loews, Manhattan). Very charming new indie film that deserves a distribution. Wonder if anyone else saw it. Fresh take on gay gentrification in traditionally Latino east LA, without the usual heavy-handed preaching. And funny.
