Ok, so I couldn't sleep last night and went trolling through the web looking for news - I have insomnia, being a news junkie doesn't help. Anyway, I came across a Kickstarter/Indiegogo campaign that was related to Elaine and sad!
Rob Bowman is Elaine Stritch's music director and pianist, his dog has nose cancer and had to undergo a very expensive surgery. You can read the rest here

Interesting enough, there is a short clip of Elaine with rob and the dog, I wonder if that clip is an outtake from the new Elaine documentary. The campaign was started by the director of the film Chiemi Karasawa..??
