While not not as brilliant as "Jerry McGuire" nor as iconic and fantastic as "Almost Famous", I found myself oddly compelled by it.
All of Crowe's work - even his less inspired - pulls you in.
I have a feeling I'm in the minority though!

I haven't seen it, but I thought it looked awful based on the previews, and didn't it get bad critical reviews? I remember being really surprised/disappointed to see that it was done by Cameron Crowe, whose romances I usually love. Maybe I'll give it a chance on DVD.
I actually enjoyed it. Not great, but I was surprisingly moved by it.
I agree with monk. I liked it.
I'm a huge fan of Crowe's, so I love all of his work. Even though this wasn't his best film, I still thought it was good. I particularly loved the music in it.
That Ryan Adams Song "I wish you would" was awesome.
I thought it was cute.
Yeah, I totally loved it. It's one of the few movies that I've actually been able to enjoy Kirsten Dunst in.
I was ready to hate it. But I loved it after a viewing.
Although I felt bits of it were uneeded and kind of pointless, the ending road trip was fantastic.
Also the scene where Drew tries to kill himself: priceless. I was cracking up.
