I saw a reading of this at Powerhouse last summer, it was great. The less you know going in, the better. The premise has some serious shock value that will automatically turn a lot of people off. I would say conservative theatergoers would be challenged by this piece.I would highly recommend it, it is extremely funny and equally dark.

I saw this last night, it was good fun. I’ve never seen the films, but I’m always curious to see a horror play on stage. Nothing mind blowing, but solid entertainment with great performances. I was delighted to see an audience completely full of people in their 20s and 30s having a great time. I sat orchestra center row O, a perfect seat. I also saw a workshop last year and thought it was incredibly good. Similar in pace & storytelling style to Come From Away, with music that really surprised me. I hope we get to see it in NY.

I saw this today & really enjoyed it. I did have one technical question. When Naz addresses the audience the lights go down and a spotlight follows him around the stage. This isn’t a true follow-spot, but a hung moving light. He moves around quite a bit and this light often didn’t keep up with him, leaving him in the dark for seconds at a time. My lighting design knowledge is 20 years old. What type of light is this and is someone remotely controlling its movement? Thanks!
