If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

Posted: 1/19/05 at 7:19pmAdmittedly, not the most original idea. But, why not? From what I understand it will have very little in common with the original film. And I think Ellen's sense of humor will befit the material. I also like the idea that God turns out to be a woman.

First of all, Ellen, who is a WONDERFUL talk host, and an amazingly funny and talented person would do great in this role. But, as for her movie choices (Mr. Wrong), I don't know how it will turn out.
And the thing I love about Ellen playing God - it's a slap in the face to homophobic middle-Americans. Thank you Casting Directors!!! (Or Pitch people!!!)
"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive.
"Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot."
"No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one."
