I was bitterly disappointed by this movie, actually. I've managed record stores for 20 years and hoped this would be a funnier-than-reality slice of life, but it was pretty absurd in my book. I did do an instore event tied to the release of the film and met Renee Zellweger who signed a poster to me as "The REAL Joe"-- the manager of the store in the film was named Joe, also and...aw, never mind.

No I didn't like the movie much!

This is my most favorite movie of all time. Which is kinda sad because it probably isn't the best movie I've seen, but a lot of those one liners stick with you and I say random things in public which make me look stupid. Such as "My name isn't f#&^ Warren!"

zz- yeah i find myself quoting this movie all the time "oh rexy you're so sexy!" lol hehe my fav lines are

"no visible tattoos"
"no revealing clothing"
"we're both screwed, at least you're used to it"
"now deborah don't be bitter, certainly with your ever growing collection of flesh mutilating silver appendages and you're brand new neo nazi bootcamp makeover the boys will come a runnin!"
"let's not fight let's just rip"

"could you please not sing mark?!"
"one of these days joe i'm gonna show you little people"
"yeah well on that day i'll jump out of my wheelchair and do a dance"

Hah,

this is SUCH a movie from my teen years...hah...and Can't Hardly Wait.
