I'm being a typical tourist and want to go on the 86th Floor Observatory "tour". Does anyone know how much time I should put aside for this. I'm going on a Wednesday or Thursday in July if that makes a difference. Thanks.

It sort of depends on what time of day you go and whether you want to pay for express tickets or not. I'd reserve two hours from entrance to exit.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

I'd also plan to go earlier in the day rather than later....better to beat the crowds than join them.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Different thought -- go to the top of the RCA/GE building instead. You get a great view of the city, the park and the Empire State Building. And smaller crowds.

Smaller crowds -- NOT!
