Entering in a competition and need help!

Yeah, I'm sorry, it's another one of those audition song threads. Usually I'm pretty good about selecting a song for shows, but this case is different. I'm auditioning for a big competition for musical theatre singing and I'm having trouble finding songs. The songs should be three minutes or less (but they can be altered to make them shorter) and age-appropriate (I'm 16). I am most comfortable in my classic-soprano range. Think Audra McDonald. I need two songs that have a lot of emotional power and build to a crescendo. Songs that are known to give chills. It is okay if they are slightly overdone. Any help would be much appreciated. It's a guy song, but works brilliantly for a chick.

both 'The Beauty Is' and 'The Light In The Piazza' (from said show) are beautiful

'Migratory V' from Myths and Hymns is pretty

'Much More' from The Fantastics is a brilliant choice, but doesn't do much in the way of a journey
