Envelopes??

Posted: 9/9/04 at 2:24pmMake fun of me all you want..but what do those little envelopes mean that are next to the topics?

Posted: 9/9/04 at 2:28pmI think if they're open it means there have been new posts since you last looked at it. Closed means there hasn't. Red means it's a hot topic (31 posts does that or a certain amount of views, can't remember how many.)

Posted: 9/9/04 at 2:34pmI have been. This board went to hell a long time ago if that's your point.

Sorry NYU, but it was just a question. I'll stop posting from now on...so the board will not continue its long drive down into hell.
Besides I'll get a lot more work done that way...

Posted: 9/9/04 at 2:37pmIt really wasn't directed at you're post. Just didn't want to make a entire thread about it.

Posted: 9/9/04 at 2:38pmWhy is there so much negativity regarding a post inquiring about a feature of this board? I don't understand.
#11re: Envelopes??
Posted: 9/9/04 at 2:43pmbecause a simple question on this board doesn't get a simple reply. It gets drama, angst, *curtain call*, tears, laughter, applause, *bow*, THEN a reply.

Posted: 9/9/04 at 2:45pmAlso it's one that has been asked before, hence JID's response. But threads are no longer stored on here after a certain time, so that's why Fish couldn't find anything.

Posted: 9/9/04 at 2:48pmMy question is, if the board is appearing to go downhill, what are you doing to elevate it?
