I'm just curious if anyone has ever gone to see a movie in the theaters or rented a movie and fell asleep during it. I have only done it a couple of times but I'm thinking it was because I was sick. I fell asleep during The Bourne Identity, Big Fish(even though I watched it again wide awake), and V For Vendetta( I might've been sick, but again I felt the film was boring; Passed out in the beginning and woke up during the scene where Natalie Portman was getting her head shaved).
So, have YOU ever fallen asleep during a movie?

I spaced out during Harry Potter tonight, but it was my second time seeing it, and I was really tired. I daydreamed throught most of it.

It actually seems that it's easier to fall asleep during the longer movies. I think I was starting to doze off during Lord of The Rings The Two Towers. I know my dad was. Hell, he fell asleep during Terminator 3 and didn't even wake up during the explosions.
I am **SHOCKED** that you thought of a thread topic about movies that Cruel_Sandwich hasn't posted about yet!

Went to see The Talented Mr Ripley in the theatre (not my choice) and fell asleep, and I remember waking up and being really annoyed that the movie was *still* dragging on...and not to mention Gwynnie is in it, and she's just- ugh!- to me.

kept nodding off in the middle of Le Grand Silence - I just could not keep my eyes open
A guy a few rows in front of me fell asleep around the same time and snored away until the end credits rolled.
I'm sure many would think Le Grand Silence is a boring movie, but I found it incredibly relaxing and didn't regret going to it.
I fell asleep during HP4 and 5 because I was bored. I also fell asleep during I Know Who Killed Me because I was running on a few hours sleep and it was a stupid movie anyway.
I am sure everybody has. Have you ever fallen asleep during sex? I have.
I fell asleep during Superman Returns, but that was mostly because my legs were pinned by the back of the seat of the person sitting in front of me who had the nerve to be annoyed that he couldn't recline further because I was in the way... Sleep was the only way out I could think of at the time. I couldn't get up and move to a different seat without stepping on his face, which in retrospect, would have probably been a really good idea.
HARRY POTTER AND THE SORCERER'S STONE (haven't attempted another one since)
THE QUEEN (though I enjoyed it a lot more the second time on DVD)
1408 (one guy in a room for most of the film; it got old)
Lemony Snicket's Series of Unfortunate Events. At one minute I was watching Meryl Streep on screen, thing I knew I was waking up to witness her untimely demise. It was a very late showing though.
superman returns, only saw five minutes before I was out
well, it was a double feature at the drive in and we had just watched the LONG POTC2, so I guess one could see that coming

I dozed off for a short while during The Beach with Leo.
I slept through Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, and Titanic.

LOL, Taz - you're so right about that.
SEXY BEAST
SWEET CHARITY (don't kill me, I was a kid)
I fall asleep watching movies, at home, all the time. I blame my couch. It's extremely comfy.
I've only fallen alseep at a movie theater once. It was at a midnight showing of Underworld II and I'd had a very, very long day.
I fell asleep watching 2001: A Space Odyssey (but re-watched it later) and fell asleep watching Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones (because it was dull).
