Clinton will have an awful lot of backpedaling to do if she is offered and accepts the VP slot. If Obama is the nominee, a cabinet position for her would be more reasonable. (And of course Clinton and Obama would publicly discuss it before November '08.)

if it turns out that obama is the true choice of the people, then he should be the nominee. But only if he can win.

Right now, that's not likely.

You watch CNN and its as if Obamas campaign was doin' just fine.

But its not.

I don't understand the perception here that CNN is biased toward Obama. The Friday that the Bittergate non-story broke, the Political Ticker had almost nothing but articles about his imminent demise and the station itself had angry white male "strategists" forecasting nothing but doom and gloom. CNN and Fox will put out anything to make these campaigns seem more controversial and exciting than they really are just to keep you watching. When Hillary Clinton heads to court on fraud charges, they'll be all over that too.

and as soon as they could, they got the story back to his favor. Sure, they are reporting the current polls that show her ahead, but obama is still presented as inevitable.

Jack Cafferty is blatantly biased. Jeffrey Toobin is.

This aint over til its over but its inane to think he's def gonna be the nominee.
