A truly gorgeous film...but hold onto your hat:

Looks crappy.

Crappy. Agreed. The dipsh*ts in Hollywood are literally running out of horror movies to remake. I heard they're now in talks for a remake of ANGEL HEART. Whuuuuut???? While that movie isn't exactly what I would call a classic, it certainly isn't screaming to be remade or improved upon.

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali

They are stealing ideas from foreign countries and dumbing them down.

"The Ring" is the most successful in recent years of a horror film translated well. I cant think of another.

I thought that Funny Games was a decent remake.
Not quite sure why he did it, but it was done well at least.

On that note doodle, the producers of The Ring have stolen a Korean horror film idea and have called it The Uninvited.

The poster for it looks a lot like The Ring, too. Interesting...

As long as the never attempt to remake Audition. That is in my top 5 all time favorite horror films. I'm still scarred from it.

Audition is on my top 5 as well, maybe even my top 3.

One of the scariest I've seen for sure.

Yes!
re: Exorcist III Love Thread

Kasie, The Uninvited is the remake or A Tale of Two Sisters from Korea...I reference it above.

Ah-ha! I see now...

Just looking at the Audition poster makes me cringe...
I might have to watch it soon.
