I'm flying to Tucson, AZ from North Carolina and I'll be there Aug 3-10. Already got my tickets to AZ.
Now I need to go to Los Angeles for a single day - really only I'd say 5 hours. There's an airline ticket available for Aug 9 (tues) that's $167 from Tucson, AZ to Burbank, CA (I need to fly to Burbank airport).
I'd be flying from Tucson in the morning and arriving back in Tucson later that night.
I WOULD take a train for only $64, but it's a TEN HOUR trip there!!
Anyone know of Expedia.com discounts? Or another cheap way to travel?
Advice appreciated!
If you don't need to be there at a specific time I would definitely give Priceline.com a try. I was shocked about the discounts I scored there sometimes.... You need to be flexible though.

you can also try www.site59.com also for last-minute travel--it only works for certain cities though...
www.flyi.com has some pretty cheap flights :)
also try www.sidestep.com
and NO to the train.......trust me, that train comes through here, and it can take a lot longer than 10hrs
if you're a student, you can get cheap tix at www.studentuniverse.com. Also, Delta is having a fare sale right now so check out their site.
