This weekend!
Don't forget to use it for getting high and trolling for sex on the blvd.

Sounds like any other weekend, Taz.

Posted: 10/30/08 at 8:20amI hate when the clocks change. I wake up at 6AM every day, alarm clock or not, regardless of what time I get to bed, regardless of whether or not I need to be up. So, I will start waking up at 5AM every day, until I can adjust, which usually takes around a week. So, apologies in advance for my week of cranky (or, should I say crankier than usual?) posts beginning on Sunday.

I have to admit I always love Falling Back
Time changes never really bothers me for some reason...

I agree with you Brian, the whole thing is absurd.
There is one state (Nevada?) that doesn't do the whole Daylight Savings Time thing. I think they have the right idea.
Oh, and PJ, the Blvd Of Broken Dreams, of course!
re: Extra hour#6
Posted: 10/30/08 at 8:55amI know for sure Puerto Rico doesn't observe daylight savings time, but I think Arizona, Hawaii, and Indiana don't, either.

I think it's strange that there are "random" states throughout the U.S. that don't observe it.
Makes things weird.

Posted: 10/30/08 at 10:05amI'm kind glad about the no-fall-backer states. Homogeneity can be creepy.

Posted: 10/30/08 at 10:10amArizona gets really weird. I think there are some areas that do observe it, but some that don't. It definitely makes traveling there interesting.

Posted: 10/30/08 at 10:24amHalf of Indiana changes, half doesn't. One of my friends is a teacher, she lives in one town that changes and teaches in the next town over (less than 10 miles) that doesn't. So odd.

I don't mind the fall change, but the spring time shift once caused me to miss the beginning of a matinee of the LuPone "Anything Goes."
I've never gotten over it.
re: Extra hour#12
Posted: 10/30/08 at 10:30amI don't really mind it so much. Except I'm seeing Equus that day so it delays my viewing of Daniel Radcliffe's penis by an hour.

It is a real pain in the ass changing everything. Why not leave it the way it is & never change again?

We had ours last week. I had a cold at the time and was awake all night coughing my lungs up. I consequently eventually slept through the extra hour and didn't even notice it.
It's getting dark far too early now...

Posted: 10/30/08 at 7:51pmThe winter in general is weird with me. It totally messes with my mind because it gets dark way too early and light waay to light. I'm imfamous for misreading clocks and getting ready to go at 2:30 instead of 6:30 so when it's dark outside I'm nervous.
