Remember that this man is just another crony that the shrub likes to put into the position of power. This time sadly many people had to pay for it with their lives because of this man's incompetence.

He is doing the best to CYA and point fingers elsewhere - blaming the Mayor and Governor - who, admittedly, bear some blame in all of this.

But, what a freakin weak, pathetic, excuse for a man.

We wanted you to lead. You were the head of FEMA. If you were not capable of leading, then perhaps you should not have forged your resume and taken the position in the first place. But, then, under that logic, many Bush Appointees would not have the jobs they have now.

If he's so insistent on placing blame, how about starting with the guy who thought it'd be a good idea to hire him in the first place.

Yeah, I was wowed by the way Republican Shays went after the unrepentent Brownie (see separate thread/post below). And remember, this man is still on the payroll. Apparently, it's connected to the White House exerting "clearance" control.

What about that great moment when he refused to answer a question about a call to the White House staff, and someone on the committee said "why not answer? You've already told the NY TIMES."
