Is iceicle nose like slush foot? In NYC, when snow becomes grey slush and clogs all the drains, huge puddles form on the streets. Of course, right at the corners of major intersections that you have to get across.

I almost cancelled my voice lesson today because a) I'm sick and b) I didn't want to do the 15 minute walk back to campus in the freezing cold. But I went, because it's just gonna get WAY worse.

In Chicago, it's a bit crazy. Highs in the 70s last week. Chilly all weekend. Lows in the upper 20s for tonight. Back up to the 70s later this week.
I want fall to arrive and stay.

I grew up in Wisconsin. I just sort of accepted the cold. That burning feeling on your face and hands goes away in May.
I sing for myself. I sing when I want, whenever I want to, just for me. I sing for my own pleasure. Do you understand that?

Well I am allergic from March until the first hard frost. Then I freeze.
But since I moved my computer to the upstairs I can now see the trees and the hills turning, so for now Fall is beautiful. But I am so not looking forward to winter (I need sweaters as soon as the temps drop below 75.

I live in Connecticut near the Mass. border. Fall is simply exquisite here. The leaves are just begining to change and the local apples are in season. Ever have freshly pressed unpasturized cider? I also make the best home made apple crisp. The only bad thing about fall is that winter is coming.
