best things about fall are thanksgiving and halloween.

It's supposed to go down to 30 degrees tomorrow. Oh joy.
But I like fall, especially around the holiday time! Halloween is coming up soon, then Thanksgiving, then it'll be December!

I forgot to mention the turning of the leaves...the ever-present smell of wood burning stoves, etc etc etc.

I'm not happy unless it's -30 outside and the wind is blowing so hard it burns your face.

I love it when you post, Matt G, and then in minutes you're ready to post again. Amazing.

Hey, we old folks don't need days between posts either - the kids are not the only ones who bounce back fast...

Why is it that you perverts take a lovely thread about someone's favorite season and turn it into smut?

Sorry, I didn't realize this thread was about fall... I spent too much time over there on the 420 thread.

Take the all-night posting to PMs, please.
This is a clean* site.
I love the smell of fall. It feels like something could happen. You know what I mean?

IT IS FREEZING IN KINGSTON!
Honestly. It's pretty much snowing.
And it's only the start of October. Kingston winters are hell for some reason, because of our relation to Lake Ontario and the St Lawrence River. Last year it hit 40 degrees celcius below, 50 below with the wind chill. The only place in Canada that was that cold that day was Rankin Inlet in Nunavut (on the Arctic Ocean). Fall means winter, and winter means hell. I'm scared already.

thank you beaverhausen! I was just going to say....any of you Americans who complain about the weather if you're south of Minnesota, think of this...
You have a cold from the blasted winter (which, being a voice major, is just fantastic). The SECOND you step into the front hall of your house near the door it is SO cold that your runny nose freezes, and all of a sudden you have an iceicle inside your nose. This lasts all day because it just never gets warmer. It's iceicle-nose syndrome and it's alive and well up here.
Isn't that attractive?! lol.
