Goth--LaWanda Page is awesome--ever heard her stand-up? She was also on Rupaul's album YEARS ago--she does a hilarious routine about asking for a cigarette.
More quotes:
Nip it, nip it in the bud!
Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty good
No touching!
Party on! Excellent! Not!
Well, isn't that special?

"Goth--LaWanda Page is awesome"
She was perfectly cast on Sanford & Son. She is one character that I think could have had her own sitcom. I think if they used the Good Times model and built a family around her, it could have been funny. They could have really gone far with the comedy in her church. Amen with Sherman Helmsley tapped into that a few years later. Unfortunately, the producers chose Grady who wasn't as energetic as Esther.
Did you see her in Shakes the Clown?

Michelle, Full House: "You're in big trouble, mister..."
Home Improvement - Tim Taylor's famous grunt (I dare not attempt to spell it out... it won't be pretty).
The Nanny - "Oh Mr. Sheffield..." (follow with anything...)

Beam me up Scotty!
You know, that was never actually used on the show.
One that was (that I love): "Damnit, Jim, I'm a doctor, not a _______!"

Posted: 2/28/08 at 11:03pmI rememberr Bob Newhart saying that he thought that they might stop making sit-coms when they run out of cliches to name them after (like "Too Close for Comfort", "Silver Spoons", etc.) and that his next sitcom might be called something like "Not With My Cat, You Don't!"
