Never mind this pleasant film. Where are "Lili" and "The L-Shaped Room" on DVD? Ms. Caron's two Oscar-nommed performances.

i purchased "fanny" today and was pleasantly surprised to find that includes the original motion picture score by harold rome conducted by morris stoloff on cd. it's the first time the score is released in the digital format. the movie's audio options include the original mono track and a newly re-mastered 5.1 surround mix. the film itself has been re-mastered in a 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer. it's quite a beautiful job done by image entertainment. the original theatrical trailer is also included and is quite humorous with charles boyer and maurice chevalier. the only thing that would have made this release definitive would have been a feature length commentary by leslie caron. i won't quibble though as i have been waiting for this film to finally be released on dvd. it's one of my all time favorite films and i'm glad to finally enjoy it in all it's widescreen glory. highly recommended.
