I think I heard she had colorectal cancer, which is a slow-growing type of cancer. On Access TV, they were talking to other cancer survivors (i.e. Fran Drescher) who wished her well.
My mother died of cancer, so I offer Farrah my deepest condolences and wish her the best of recovery.
I read about this earlier in the week. She said, "Please respect my privacy at this challenging time." Best wishes on a speedy recovery. Thank God the treatments have come so far.
(So hard to write anything about Farrah without the word "bats**t." Doesn't really seem appropriate under the circumstances.)
Lots of people have cancer. It's pretty awful. I wish them all well in their respective fights.

Flaky? Yes. A good actress? Yes.
Cancer survivor? Knock wood, yes.
Although take this as a warning: always look after yourselves as in this country at this time, the medical community only really cares about you if you have money.
If you are a 'regular' person, you have to be your own doctor and fight for every bit of treatment and respect you can get.
Colorectal is an iffy one. if caught in time ( no mets) and the cancer is responsive to the tx, Everything is hunky dory. Otherwise... Prayer is a good thing.
I hope it gets cured. No one deserves cancer.
