The nearly $200 million-budget production has been frozen in its tracks since the tragic death of Walker, one of the lead actors in the film, on Saturday. The production is more than halfway finished, but many of Walker's key scenes remained to be shot.

I've never seen any of the movies in this series. Is it possible to include the scenes with the actor and (how to politely and respectfully write this...) could he be written out of the movie unexpectedly?

Can the scenes in the "can" be creatively used and then continue the production in a different direction?

Fans are forever going to want to see the work this beloved actor did for this film and it would be more of an atrocity to put them on the bonus DVD as extra footage.

I am sure they can write him out respectfully but it's still going to be very odd because Paul Walker is the franchise (along with Vin although Paul has bee in all but the third one) and if he disappears no matter what they do, I feel like it just won't feel right. The producers and creative team and actors are in a tough bind with this one. How do they respect Paul Walker, the actors in the franchise as well as the fans and the franchise itself?

All I know is that when I see this movie (i have seen every one but the third one in the theaters), should they release it, it's going to feel very different now...

Since movies are usually shot out of sequence, it's possible he may not have shot scenes relevant to the "plot" yet. It's also a touchy subject how to write him out of the story considering the films are about cars and explosions. I'm sure they won't have to scrap everything they've shot but it makes sense to start over, as long as the actors involved are still available.

His character should die in a car crash, no? Doing what he loved, and all that?
