Technically- the fastest way to get it, not raise it, is to steal it. However, morally- I don't think thats a good thing.
As Plum said- Babysitting works wonders!! Sometimes you can kill 2 birds with one stone- if you find 2 people that need babysitters for the same time, you could offer to do it at one of their houses. You probably won't get paid double as you would with one but maybe you'd get 15$ instead of 10$/per hour.
Thats what I have done but I have babysat both families kids before. Hopefully you know some people that could use it...

I don't know how old you are or if you are in college but...you could tutor maybe.
Usually at my college people put up signs with their phone numbers and what classes they can tutor you in. I'm not sure that's going to work though since you need it quickly.

ha! I live in Texas...not only is it our fifth dryest drought ever, but I'm also in a region where it doesn't ever really snow...if it did, it wouldn't be enough to shovel. but nice thought!

What?!?! I've had several kidney stones! I'll be happy to sell then for 1,000$ let alone 25,000!!
G-d knows where that thing is now. It was biopsied(sp?) and probably thrown away.
