my favourite? that's like asking "what's your favourite movie with a lady in it?" i mean, all the movies i watch on tcm or rent are b&w. so if you're asking what's my favourite b&w i've watched this week: east of eden, the apartment, strangers on a train, the maltese falcoln, bringing up baby, roman holiday...
and every movie made by hitchcock, audrey hepburn, katharine hepburn, and nearly everything from the '40's, esp film noir.

This is a very difficult question, I agree...cause most of my favorite movies are B&W!
If I had to choose one, it would be "From Here To Eternity".
