re: taboo joke on simpsons halloween

::shudder::
I agree. How can they suggest that show even made it into a theater?

re: ? about resumes

Whistle?
re: Ushering

Creepiest. Clowns. Ever.
re: Ushering

I seem to have under estimated the art of leading people to their seats.
re: help.com!! from a 17 yr old floridian!!

For film, Fullsail in Orlando does a TON of student films and they are almost always holding auditions for something.
re: Seussical, the musical

That widow of his is such a freaking sell out, I hate her. He is rolling in his grave.
re: Ushering

I imagine they don't pay people because people WILL do it for free. It's not exactly a job that requires skill.
re: help.com!! from a 17 yr old floridian!!

Orlando is basicly the bastard version of New York. There are a ton of options available, maybe you should look there first.
re: THE NEXT EVA PERON

I do beleive they are looking for an unknown to be Evita.
re: Wicked icons

Could always just get a picture and resize it.
re: musical theater/colleges

I can't imagine a school would care too much how many years you take classes there for.
Check out any University. They are big enough to have both a theater and a solid education program. UCF (my school in Orlando) for one has a pretty good theater program and a computer science department second only to Poly Cal Tech.
Do you want to minor or double major in musical theater because you love it, or because you really want to persue it as a career. You might want to be careful. I love thea

re: College Monologue

I've always had a penchant for Tennesse William. But you may feel that a known monolouge might not fair too well.
re: Favorite work of fiction

The Many Men of Gotham is freaking hysterical.

Why don't you start by listing your own, personal favorites?

re: Most Influential Musicals of the 90's and the new millenium

Good call adam, Tommy, Aida, Moving Out, pretty strong list.
re: the future of dance on broadway

And Jazz

I saw the original Shall We Dance, it's a Japanese film. I loved it. I can't see it translating well, as the Japanese culture makes it beleiveable that this man should try to hide his passion for dance.

re: evita on the simpsons

Sorry, that was within the past 4 seasons. I try to stray from those.
re: Most Influential Musicals of the 90's and the new millenium

Urinetown is pretty amazing in the sense that what, some college students penned it?
re: audition help please

What's your range?
re: Embarassing Broadway Stage Moments anyone?

I guess these moments seperate those with a solid imporv background from those who just sing well... heh.
re: Most Influential Musicals of the 90's and the new millenium

Cats was the longest running, but I don't know how much of an impact this has. I guess it was more family oriented that it appealed to a more general public?
