Oh there are too many favorites to pick just one...I love pretty much ALL of Christmas Eve on Sesame Street. My mom actually got it for me on DVD this year (yes, my mom still gets me presents like that
) And all of the Yip Yip Alien sketches, of course.
One of my favorite songs from Sesame Street has to be Ernie singing I Don't Want to Live on the Moon. Imagine That is another favorite, though less sentimental and more fun than the former.
Sesame Street just isn't as good anymore...

I remember that episode being aired. I still cry watching it.
Every children's TV series should take a page out of Sesame Street's book on how to explain difficult scenarios.

I also liked the "People in Your Neighborhood" songs. Here is one featuring Ben Stiller: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_yohVlVbEA
The Yip Yip martians are hilarious.
There was also a skit I liked with a remote that made things go up and down: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4rlzIxmMFv0

Seeing how good Sesame Street has always been only points up how freakin' AWFUL the new version of "Electric Company" is.

I was about to post my surprise that no one mentioned my all-time favorite sketch, but kelzama posted it first. I still giggle like a child when I see it.

It is so so fun rewatching these!
This one, however, has always been my favorite:
THE AFRICAN ALPHABET SONG

Kermit the Frog and Ladysmith Black Mambazo (song by Joe Raposo)
Some of the most beautiful original songs and music were composed for this revolutionary program!
