I love the Friends episode where Rachel makes the trifle.
Jim and I say "It's good!" like Monica a lot.

Posted: 11/22/12 at 6:32pmAdd another to the list of Friends episodes. My favorite is "The One With All The Football". I always laugh at Pheobe chasing Chandler around while she flashes him. The trifle episode is a close second.

Posted: 11/22/12 at 8:22pmI liked the Mad About You episode where the turkey goes out the apartment window. Also The West Wing, when Bartlet calls the Butterball hotline. Funniness.

Posted: 11/22/12 at 8:46pmAnother favorite is the Everybody Loves Raymomd episode where Debra's having a meltdown and can't find the squash and then drops the turkey and can't pick it up.... Classic.

BroadwayBoobs: I'll give all of you who weren't there a hint of who took the pictures ...it rhymes with shameless
SOMMS: I knew it was Tink!

Posted: 11/22/12 at 9:27pmThe two Friends episodes with Brad Pitt and Christina Applegate, respectively. They're the only Friends episodes I know almost line by line and still die of laughter.

I like the football episode of Friends too.
The Grey's Anatomy episode from season 2 was great too. George went hunting with his dad and brothers and he ended up treating his dad's butt for a gun shot wound because one of his brothers shot him accidentally. And Izzie tried cooking dinner with no knowledge of how to do so. And Cristina just wanted to drink.

Remember the Thanksgiving episode of "Joey!" where he found all those Native American artefacts in his basement or something?
Yeah, me too.

My all-time favorite is "Giblets for Murray" from MAD ABOUT YOU. I also love Alec Mapa's legendary "More turkey, Mr. Chandler" from the FRIENDS episode "The One with all the Thanksgiving Flashbacks."
Also "An American Family" from THE BOB NEWHART SHOW, with the wonderful Bernard Hughes as Bob's dad, Martha Scott as his mom, and Ann Rutherford as the most look-alike mom ever.

Yay, Reginald, more Giblets for Murray love! I wasn't sure anybody would remember, that show doesn't get as much love as others from that time.
Giblets for Murray, full episode

All of the Friends Thanksgiving episodes.
And then the first time Samantha went back in time to the first Thanksgiving in Bewitched.
Even though I soured on Everybody Loves Raymond, the tofu turkey gag killed me.
The WKRP in Cincinnati "Turkey Drop".
The Brady Bunch reenact the entire first Thanksgiving.
Gilmore Girls, "A Deep-Fried Korean Thanksgiving"
Whatever West Wing episode it was that had President Bartlet call the Butterball hotline.

They were running a Friends Thanksgiving marathon today, and I forgot how much I loved some of those old episodes.
I also forgot how great that cast was together.

Posted: 11/23/12 at 12:25amA bit sappy, perhaps, but as a huge fan of the Herskovitz/Zwick dramas (thirtysomething, My So-Called Life, Once & Again--even Relativity), I love the thirtysomething episode "We Gather Together".

Posted: 11/23/12 at 1:31amProud sap here but some of my favorite Thanksgiving episodes were from Dr. Quinn: Medicine Woman! I loved them! There was one when the town was going through a drought and at the end of the episode, it started raining and there was Joe Lando, standing there soaking wet and looking very sultry and sexy! Jane Seymour was wet too and looking absolutely gorgeous. LOVE THAT!

Posted: 11/24/12 at 4:20amOn Thanksgiving Day this year, SoapNet aired a series of episodes of General Hospital Thanksgiving episodes, and I gotta admit those Quartermaine Thanksgivings which usually ended in disaster were hilarious. Someone always threw the turkey at someone else and they would end up ordering pizza.

"The One Where Ross Got High" has probably my second favorite (after "The Routine") Ross/Monica moment, when they try to out do each other in outing secrets to their parents ("The mail man didn't steal your Playboys, ROSS did!" "Hurricane Gloria didn't break the porch swing, MONICA did!")
Also, Will & Grace's Thanksgiving blitzkrieg. Where they spent one hour with each person's family so that they could get back to their own Thanksgiving. With Nick Offerman making an appearance as a hunky, straight-out-of-porn plumber, "The kind that has a tool belt but doesn't know how to spell it."
