re: Favorite commercial

I have two from the Super Bowels
There was this adorable commercial that was aired last year that I loved and it was little Stetland pony who wanted to be one of the really big horses for Budweiser. Another great one had a zebra in a slow-mo booth for football and the cattle are standing around waiting for his outcome and there are two guys sitting on a fence drinking beer and one of them says "That refree is a jack*ss" then the other one says "No, I think he's a zebra" re: Favorite commercial

"I love the DQ commercial where the guy gets his tongue caught in the mixer while licking the frosting! I laugh out loud everytime I see it!"

I was just thinking of that one. Haha.

- What about the Broadway commercials? re: Favorite commercial

- What about the Hoveround commercial where the lady is on the Grand Canyon and yells, "Hoveround!!!" and it echoes?

- Here's one with a catchy jingle: "800-588-2300, Empiiiire! Today."

"We like to snark around here. Sometimes we actually talk about theater...but we try not to let that get in our way." - dramamama611

re: Favorite commercial

Galindafied and I always get a kick out of the DQ one where a lady's blindfolded taste testing shakes or something. And she refuses to give it back and runs away and hits the door. It's simple and stupid, but it never fails to make us laugh.

ETA:
I saw the wierdest commerical about a month ago and NOBODY has ever seen it and Alex calls me crazy because she thinks I'm making it up.

I think it's for some deodorant body spray or something, and this guy sprays it on himself at a club or something and the girls immediately attract to him. Then a mosquito bites him and flies off. A frog eats the mosquito. Cut to an old man eating frog legs. Then the old man's lieing on his bed getting ... favors from a rather young woman. The old man dies. The woman cries over his grave. Her tears drop onto the soil. Two worms emerge and form a heart. That's the end of the commerical.

It's so damn bizarre, I know, but I swear I saw it and it drives me insane that nobody remembers it.

Ken---you are so right about the commercial. I've seen it as well....it is for Axe Body Spray or some such thing. It is sooooo funny!

re: Favorite commercial

I've seen that commercial. It's so weird, but it makes sense...I guess?

I don't know if anyone's mentioned these, but I liked the commercials for the low-carb beer that were aired during the Olympics. I'm not even old enough to drink beer, but I liked the commercials. You know, where the girl has to jump 5/16ths of an inch, and they pass the baton without really moving. You kind of have to see them.

Oh, and the "I love" commercials. I guess I like a lot of beer-related commercials. But, seriously, I was so excited when they came out with that new one. *dances* I love football on t.v...

re: Favorite commercial

The one where the boy and girl are on a row boat and it springs a leak so she whips out a tampon and "applicates" it into the hole to stop the leak and her boyfriend looks at her like she is some sort of genius. I think the commercial is really dumb, but I found it funny for some reason.

re: Favorite commercial

Love ESPN commercials! I live by their helpful advice (example: "There are no such things as stupid questions. Only stupid people.") I also love the current Starbucks adds with the re-written Eye of the Tiger... very clever!

Love the Aflac Duck, and the new Staples one with Alice Cooper.
"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." Conan O'Brien
