I'm curious to know, what are some of your favorite movie moments? Not justacting performances, but specific plot points and twists. One of my personal favorites is the car scene in "The Sixth Sense" between Lynne and Cole. The way Toni Collette reacts to Cole saying her mother saw her dance recital breaks my heart every time.
Another moment that makes me gasp and gives me chills no matter how many times I see is when in "Paris Is Burning", it's announced Venus has been killed. Shocks me everytime.

When Vader reveals he is Luke's father in "The Empire Strikes Back".
The final line in "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" - "I'm not really going home...not really."
When Holden reveals his love for Alyssa in "Chasing Amy".

I tend to figure out plot twists WAY too early. Like it when I am confirmed tho.
The anonymous business men chase scene in the re make of The Thomas Crowne Affair. There was just 2 much attention on the Magritte. I really did know what was going to happen.
Kaiser Soze. Yeah I did figure it out ( Also saw a big ole cheat in the begining) Liked watching everyone else reaction to the reveal tho.
Oh and the moment i knew what was happening on "The 6th Sense" was the scene in the hospital where the Doctor ignores Bruce Willis' DOCTOR Crowe. That's not how medical professionals deal w each other esp when the potential of child abuse is in the air AND one doc is saying he has been treating the child. Unless of course he can't HEAR him....

Posted: 7/20/14 at 1:16pmThe Crying Game-- I don't know how the twist actually managed to stay unspoiled for us when we saw it in its first release, but thank God it did. I pity any movie like it opening in this day and age trying to keep secret that important a reveal.
