Muppet, Alistair Sim ones float my boat. Just never liked the George C. Scott on...all I kept seeing was Patton.
I do like Scrooged

Alastair Sim for me, but here's the oldest surviving version, from 1910.

Posted: 12/19/07 at 11:44amAlastair Sim is by far the best Scrooge. His performance is brilliant. The part where he apologises to his nephews wife makes my eyes water every time I see it.

The muppets version. They actually use alot of the real Dickens text, more than most others.
A second runner up would be the Bill Murray "Scrooged", which no one has mentioned yet. When that little mute boy says "God bless us everyone", gets me every time.
