Was Tom's Diner in the late 80s or early 90s?
I just remember when I bought the tape and was so disappointed. I didn't realize the version on the radio was a remix or the original version, which was a capella.

I have to throw in "Angel" by Madonna. LOVE this song, and it wasn't a big hit.
