Oh,Sorry for joining and not posting.
But----
I re-found this place and decided to make use of it.
I recently recorded me singing "Mama Who Bore Me" from Spring Awakening, and I've been dying to hear some feedback.(I looked really nasty when I sang it,so I blurred up my images)
So---If you could give me some pointers, since I have all those wonderful college things to lookforeward to next year.
I really appreciate it.

You've got some nice things going on, but I think some of your stylistic choices (like falling off of pitches into a speaking voice, as when you sing "..the angels") are distracting.
I feel like in your deeper register, you are singing from your throat - I can hear the froggy tension, especially in "no sleep in heaven or Bethlehem." Make sure you're supporting from your diaphragm.
It's a little flat at times, as well (as in some "pray"). I think this is also a support problem.
Keep going! Like I said, you've got some LOVELY stuff to work with. Keep it supported and I'd say you're going to be just fine. :)

Thank you!
It's good to get these brought to my attention.
:]
I appreciate your time.
And---it might've been the fact wasn't---er---perfect
[I was sitting in a squishy chair, with my legs propped up,not too Ideal]
Thanks.
Haha, I don't mean to be overly critical! The position isn't good at all for singing, if you had legs crossed, et cetera. :)
You do have some WONDERFUL things going on! I should have enumerated them a bit more, but I think what's useful there is the little things you can fix so easily!
All my opinion, though. And if you like them, OWN them, and I'm sure I'll be eating my hat later! :)

Well,I got the postive vibe,it's all good
:]
But,seriously,it means a ton to be hearing that.
I agree with a lot of what Fledermaus said already. But to add on, I just don't think that you chose a good song for your voice. You seem uncomfortable in your lower register.
On the brighter side, you have a beautiful tone to your voice. It's very easy to listen to. Best of luck!

Wow!
Okay,I'll take that into consideration.
I've always considered my alto range my 'comfort' range
But,a thousand thanks.
Have a wonderful day

I commented. I would love to hear you sing Amazing Mayzie
You have a really nice natural tone! But it does seem like you're pushing your voice (only at certain points) through your throat, which might be because need to take deeper breaths, lower into your diaphragm.
It seems like you belt really well naturally but make sure you take lessons that will allow you to be versatile.Don't be afraid of your head voice.
A lot of people overlook classical training because they don't like classical music- but it's the best thing out there for your vocal health, versatility, and breath control. ,:) good luck!

I completely agree. I think a lot of people overlook it also because everything on Broadway now is pop-styled and belted. But having a strong foundation is so so so important.

It's so nice to get feedback.
I definately will look into classical training.
