Meh. Tonight, I saw the hilarious and fun A SHOT IN THE DARK but I just felt so...sad throughout. I have noticed that this is a pattern for me throughout movies that are just supposed to be entertaining. I just feel so sad, as if I shouldn't be enjoying this because it's just a temporary...and I hate to use this word...diversion.
I just can't deal with people using the word "diversion" to describe this. I don't know.

Wow, Cruel. Everything in life is temporary... even life itself. You could take your sentiment to the extreme and say, "I had a really great day yesterday, but I was sad about it because I'm going to die at some point and it'll all be gone."
Sounds like you're too caught up in your own world to escapt into another one long enough to watch a movie. I agree depression is likely the reason. Get help. Get meds.
And enjoy A Shot In the Dark.

I could never watch love stories without wanting to throw the heaviest object I could find at the screen, but that could just be me.
On a more serious note though, the posters of BWW probably don't constitute as trained professionals in the medical calling but I must concure that it does sound like depression. If these feelings are typical for you and you aren't able to find enjoyment in activities that you would normally enjoy, I would try to find help.

Posted: 4/27/08 at 1:26pmI think what mainly bothered me is that I was surfing the web earlier today and saw a very early early early trailer for the very first Pink Panther movie (Not this one, though it was technically the first.) and it was just going on and on about how entertaining it is. I don't know. I just felt very sad when I was watching that.

"" Consider a refund."
Thanks for the laugh. I needed that.
I wonder, if you go to a therapist and it doesn't help, can you get a refund? Something to ponder on this nice Sunday....

Sorry, but it seems so masochistic. Maybe since the sandwich cries during happy movies, it enjoys being berated on message boards.
but I shouldn't have said "hate." Mea culpa

What am I worried about? I'm a celebrity already. Do you guys think gay guys like me could be on the cover of Seventeen magazine or is that out of reach. Sometimes I'm just really scared and afraid in my life. OMG I'm having an emotional collapse.

I'm not making fun of you Cruelsandwich, I'm talking about myself. Seems like you have depression.

And I always feel so good reading Cruel's ceaseless self-pitying posts. Pauvre Cruelle. Life is hard, isn't it, you terribly sensitive creature?
Of course, feeling bad while watching a Blake Edwards movie could also be considered a sign that you have something approaching taste in movies, but that's REALLY unlikely...
