Jean Valjean is on the stage for only part of each act. He actually barely gets any stage time compared to Marius or Eponine. THE MOST: Elle - Legally Blonde (does she even ever leave the stage for more than a couple minutes?) Melchior - Spring Awakening Clara - The Light in the Piazza Christine Ebersole - Grey Gardens (both roles)
