I am auditioning for a summer production of Fiddler on the Roof. The auditions are pretty general - you go and sing, read one of their chosen monologues, do a group dancemovement audition and they figure out who's who from that. There is no auditioning for particular roles. I am hoping for the role of Chava - but I would be happy with one of the other sisters. My question is probably what you expected.. What song would be a wise choice to sing for my auditon? I have a mezzo-soprano -> soprano range, and I am in my mid-teen years.
P.S. probably a more classic piece would be preferable, seeing as in my area it can be troubling finding some of the 'newer' sheet music. Oh, and I don't mind cliche suggestions.. the company I work with are pretty cliche themselves.
Thanks :)

Have you tried musicnotes.com or freehandmusic.com you can download and print any sheet music you need.
As for songs, I know this is kind of random, but have you thought about "God Help the Outcasts" from Disney's Hunchback?
