I am in no way a fan of Johnny Depp (or let me re-phrase that) I think he is a talented actor, but not at all good looking.
Anyway, I thought this movie was on of the best I have ever seen, and the entire cast did a marvelous job. Kate Winslet was exp stand-outish, and I hope she recieves some Oscar praise.

Posted: 12/20/04 at 11:15amI just saw this last night and had mixed feelings about it. The whole story line was somewhat blah. Visually it would go from quite boring in the "real life" to beautiful in the Neverland sequences. Everyone seems to have enjoyed the acting but I was definatly not blown away. Johnny Depp was gorgeous but not compelling. Kate Winslet did a better job but her part was written a little less strongly. The boys were amusing, especially the Michael character. All is all the best part of this movie was the play within it.

Posted: 12/20/04 at 12:17pmI think this movie is BEAUTIFUL. It's definitely NOT a masterpiece, and probably shouldn't win best picture of the year - it's just not of that caliber - but for what it is, it's remarkable. I think all of the performances are stunning, especially Depp and the boy that plays Peter. I would watch Johnny Depp all day...
