I tried to tell her he was gay and she said that Jewish men could not be gay because the religion places so much importance on family. My mom (who has been deceased since 1993) was born in 1933 and she was raised in Kansas City, Missouri. She never said the word gay- she used to say "fagele" (pronounced fay-guh-la). She used to use a lot of yiddish. She was also a huge Liberace fan because she was a pianist and she actually got to meet him once.

The really funny thing is he's not even Christian. NO idea where in the heck she got that from, but no. haha. Ethnically he's Jewish, but according to people who'd seen his social networking sites before they were taken down for Idol he had listed himself as "Agnostic".
Never mind the fact that he's all but SPELLED IT OUT that he's gay, and that even if he was Christian that wouldn't mean a thing haha
I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.
